More about me
My name is George Calmoti, and I’m one of you.
A fellow parent with a child who lives and breathes soccer.
A child who dreams big, trains hard, and gives their whole heart to the game.
And I know exactly what that feels like.
I know the rollercoaster of emotions that hits every time your child steps on the field—excitement, pride, anxiety, hope.
It’s all there. And I’ve felt every bit of it.
From early on in my journey as a youth soccer parent, I had this quiet feeling deep down—
That maybe there was another way.
A way that wasn’t filled with constant worry, pressure, and future-focused thinking.
A way that felt lighter. More connected. More joyful.
I truly believed there had to be a better, more meaningful way to support my child’s development in the game.
The question was: what is that way?
So I started digging.
I spent countless hours reading books and articles on youth soccer development.
I had conversations with coaches, former and current professional players, sports psychologists, and other parents just like you and me.
And little by little, I began to uncover something important:
There are other ways.
There are tools, mindsets, and approaches that can make this journey not only more effective—but more rewarding for both the child and the parent.
And because I truly believe that you, too, feel this somewhere deep down—
I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned.
My hope is that it brings you clarity, confidence, and most of all, connection with your child through this incredible game.
